3/2023 HTI won a Kentucky SBIR/STTR Micro-Award with Contract Number KSEF-148-504-23-039. The micro-award was used to help the company to compete for the SBIR/STTR projects.

9/2021 Hitron Technologies won SBIR matching fund from Kentucky State.

5/2021 Our Intelligent Remote Egg-Oiling System (IREOS) project (http://hitron-technologies.com/content/technology/egg-oiling-drone/) was recently highlighted in a Yahoo! News article ( Link: US Navy developing autonomous drone to prevent bird eggs from hatching near airfields (yahoo.com)) on Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) application.

1/2019 Hitron Technologies was awarded an SBIR Phase-I project title “A Remote Egg-oiling System
with Autonomous and Automated Target Object Identification for Nuisance Bird Management”.

9/2018 Hitron Technologies was awarded an SBIR Phase-II contract to develop an autonomous
mechanical device tentatively named Tick Collection Robot (TiCoBot). The TiCoBot allows for effective
tick study and population surveillance by performing the collection process in a reliable fashion that
eliminates many of the dangers and inefficiencies associated with traditional tick collection.

5/2018 Hitron Technologies acquired Nanowise LLC, a company located in Lexington, KY, in order to
commercialize its technologies in advanced materials including lithium battery nanostructured
materials and oxygen separation materials.

3/2016 With the support of the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS), we started developing an
automatic activation system for body worn cameras used by first responders, allowing for fully
automatic video recording and data capture in response to certain critical events. The sensors and
cameras we are developing are also perfect for home security and sports recording.
